Jake and I first "met" in August of 2013 on an LDS Facebook group. I found out that Jake had served his LDS mission in California Arcadia (one of the missions near my hometown) and we struck up a conversation. We started dating that October, after we were finally able to meet in person.

Jake proposed in March of 2014, and we were married on August 30th in the Los Angeles Temple. I'm so grateful to know that if Jake and I remain worthy and strive to follow God's commandments, we will remain husband and wife even after death because of the choice we made to be sealed in the temple. Our wedding day was beautiful, a day that I know neither of us will ever forget!
In September of 2015, we brought home our little furbaby Zoe and became a family of three! I have finally finished getting my degree in English Education, and I'll be completing my semester of student teaching this fall at a local middle school. Jake is chipping away at his Business Degree while working full-time, and helping me stay sane as I transition from my role as student to teacher. Each day is a new adventure for us as we learn more about each other, how we can have a strong marriage, and the plan that God has for us!
